Buick GSX

The buick GSX is still to this day one of the most powerful cars ever built, until the Viper came out in 1992 the buick GSX had more pure raw torque then any orther car.
A lot of people were misinformed about these cars, and though that a Buick was a grandma car, or something that a doctor, or a lawyer might drive, this car was fully capable of putting most cars built to shame.
The Buick GSX was not to be trifeled with, it could make short work of most cars on the road, at 510 FTLB of torque this car could hold it's own against any other car that you could mention. The GSX sported a hood mounted tach; 3.42:1 rear gear ratio; G60-15 “billboard” Wide-Oval tires;
a special front stabilizer bar;
and a rear spoiler, the GSX also came with a 4 speed gear box, and a Hurst shifter, the cars also had a special graphics kit installed from the factory, which included two racing stripes running over the hood and deck lid of the car, and a thin stripe running down both sides of the car.
If there was a car that was capable of giving you a heart attack, it was this one, you can bet that this car was not for the weak of heart, or mind, you'd better be in your right mind to play with this one.

The Buick GSX came with an automatic, or a standard transmission depending on what you ordered, it had a 455 CID big block Buick engine
in it, with air induction vents on the hood, this was a car that you could take your woman out on a date in, or you could load up all the guys, and go race on the main drag.

This is the egine compartment of the 1970 Buick GSX, this is waht produced all the power that I talked about earlier on this page. This may look like a moemal engine to you, but it is the pinnacle of the muscle car engines in 1970.
This engine could impress the biggest muscle car freaks on the planet.
